Q.208 - Are there any effredrin-like components in this mixture that could elevate blood pressure?

Sinus Rinse contains only USP grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. The amount of sodium that can get absorbed is very minimal and less than one gets by eating one slice of bread. High blood pressure or cardiovascular disease should not prevent one from using the system.

We just purchased the Neilmed sinus rinse as recommended by our Dr. for my daughter. She has attempted to flush both nasal passages but the solution just runs back out the same nostril and she says it hurts when squeezing the fluid in. We tried repositioning and she still runs into the same problem.
