Q.341 - I hear breathing in my left ear. My Doctor says it is eustachian tube dysfunction. He has me on your rinse. It works most of the time ! I have a question: When I blow my nose after rinse, should I hear a squeaking in my ear?

You may be blowing too hard or you may be using too much pressure on the squeeze bottle. This would cause the squeaking sound. To avoid ear discomfort we recommend that you gently squeeze only 1/4 of the bottle at a time and stop the rinse if you feel any solution sensation near the ears. And do blow your nose very gently, without pinching it completely closed.

Hello; When I blow my nose immediately after using the rinse bottle, I hear water gurgling in my ear; it sounds as if I had just come out of a swimming pool. The sound does not persist. I have had much trouble over the years with ear infections. Can there be a connection?

Have been using the sinus rinse to finish off a sinus infection, with great results. I have had a nasal bleed- unrelated- but now would like to know if I need to wait a specific period of time before I can continue to irrigate sinuses. (i.e., a day after a bleed, or longer)

UNFORTUNATELY, I REALLY DON'T FIND THAT YOUR SINUS RINSE WORKS. I HAVE A MISERABLE COLD OR SOMETHING, BUT I HAVE SERIOUS MUCOUS BLOCKAGE IN MY LEFT NOSTRIL. I DON'T SEE ANY HELP FROM THE SINUS RINSE PRODUCT OF YOURS. ALSO, I FIND IT PAINFUL TO USE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME NOT TO SWALLOW THIS STUFF, SO I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU'RE TELLING PEOPLE NOT TO SWALLOW IT. I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SWALLOW IT !

I have been diagnosed with ETD and my right ear gets sticky feeling. ENT sad to use the nasal rinse but I am afraid that it would do more harm than good as the instructions say not to use if the ear is congested. I have oK inner ear pressure and no fluid in the middle ear...HELP!
