Q.341 - I hear breathing in my left ear. My Doctor says it is eustachian tube dysfunction. He has me on your rinse. It works most of the time ! I have a question: When I blow my nose after rinse, should I hear a squeaking in my ear?
You may be blowing too hard or you may be using too much pressure on the squeeze bottle. This would cause the squeaking sound. To avoid ear discomfort we recommend that you gently squeeze only 1/4 of the bottle at a time and stop the rinse if you feel any solution sensation near the ears. And do blow your nose very gently, without pinching it completely closed.
