article I am pregnant and have sinusitis. I want to use the NetiPot, but am worried that I may swallow the solution, is it dangerous during pregnancy? Can I just use distilled water without the solution?
Author: Kelly
NeilMed Sinus Rinse is absolutely safe during the pregnancy and during breast feeding.  Please do not use only distilled water as it will burn a lot.  The distilled water or pure water is hypotonic, not isotonic, and can irritate your nasal passages.
