As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the well-being of our employees is of utmost importance. We would like to share with you how we are currently providing our employees with a clean, safe workplace to keep bringing our consumers the healthcare products they need.<\/p>\n

We look after the safety and well-being of our employees by taking steps to ensure our offices and manufacturing facility are safe and healthy environments. Employees are well-trained regarding CDC and WHO guidelines concerning COVID-19. NeilMed\u00ae<\/sup> is committed to making sure those guidelines are followed at our offices, and to showing appreciation of our employees’ hard work. Some of the measures we have taken include:<\/p>\n

    1. Using technology to allow the bulk of our employees to work remotely whenever possible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Encouraging social distancing in our front offices by eliminating business travel, avoiding cross-traffic through office doors and staircases, creating additional office space, separating manufacturing employees from our front office employees, providing phone and screen-sharing technology for intra-office communications, and digitally signing documents.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Creating policies conforming to CDC and WHO guidelines that require employees to maintain distance from one another, sanitize their workstations, stay home when they are sick, and other obligations. These policies are posted throughout the office, distributed to employees and communicated in frequent meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. Reducing the risk of spread of COVID-19 by taking employees’ temperatures via thermal body scanners upon arrival and departure and intermittently throughout production hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    1. Enhancing cleaning and sanitization measures in our manufacturing facility by providing ample hand sanitizer stations, installing four extra sinks for hand-washing, and other efforts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        1. Reducing the risk of the spread of COVID-19 between manufacturing employees by providing them with masks and gloves.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            1. Adding a third shift to reduce the number of employees working during each shift.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                        1. Rewarding our hard workers with increased pay, bonuses and providing them with daily meals and complimentary NeilMed\u00ae<\/sup> products. Meals are sourced from local restaurants that are struggling during this crisis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                            1. In the break areas, microwave use has been eliminated, and the number of dining tables and chairs has reduced to enable employees to social distance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                                1. Employees who carpool together are placed into teams to work on the same production lines together, away from other groups of employees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                                    1. Limiting the number of activities performed on-site by, for example, temporarily curbing marketing mailer and sample request projects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                                      As a healthcare company, NeilMed\u00ae<\/sup> is dedicated to providing relief to hospitals and health workers on the frontlines. Thus, NeilMed\u00ae<\/sup> has committed a minimum of USD $250,000 to invest in items to give to the medical community as they fight COVID-19 infections. As this pandemic unfolds, we are stepping up to serve our communities during this crisis by donating a variety of equipment needed by healthcare professionals to protect themselves as well as their patients.<\/p>\n

                                                      Using our robust manufacturing facility, we have begun to produce hand sanitizer that we will donate to hospitals and other relief organizations. We will manufacture 20,000 3oz bottles of hand sanitizer to be used by medical professionals and those in need. This volume of hand sanitizer will also protect our employees and their families and maintain the sterility of our facility, so that we can keep bringing you our consumer health products.<\/p>\nWe understand the critical need to protect health workers at the frontlines of this crisis as well as their patients. With protective equipment in short supply worldwide, we have made plans to acquire and donate:
                                                      \n1) 100,000 FDA-approved KN95 masks;
                                                      \n2) 100,000 surgical masks;
                                                      \n3) 2,000 surgical sterile gowns;
                                                      \n4) 10,000 face shields; and
                                                      \n5) 5 thermal scanners
                                                      \n<\/strong>As we continue to receive shipments of these items from our manufacturers, they will be donated to doctors, nurses and other health workers in our local community as well as nationally. We have already given a significant amount of these items to health professionals and continue to form partnerships with hospitals and clinics to arrange for donations.\n

                                                      NeilMed\u00ae<\/sup> will also donate its branded nasal irrigation and other products to healthcare professionals, first responders and others treating COVID-19 patients upon request. Our products promote the health, hygiene and well-being of users and we are happy to provide them for those in need.<\/p>\n

                                                       <\/p>\n Thank you so much for the N95’s that you donated to the local Disease Control Unit at Public Health. We are busy with case investigations and contact tracing of all of the covid + persons in Sonoma County. We have been doing testing of household members and our testers are using appropriate PPE.
